Slag Rotary Dryer
Description
The YDPM series side-insertion pulse-type dust collector is a new development created on the basis of our company's side-insertion and flat-bag dust collectors with the application of pulse cleaning technology.
This equipment uses an online pulse-jet cleaning system and a flat filter-bag structure, which makes indoor installation easier. Side bag replacement is convenient and is not limited by the height of the premises.
The equipment offers high dust-collection efficiency, large air-handling capacity, compact construction, a small footprint, low maintenance costs, as well as safe, stable and reliable operation.
The special design and manufacturing technology of the bag cages ensure reliable fixing of the filter element and the quality of the cage, and also increase the induced air volume compared with similar products, improving cleaning efficiency and reducing the aerodynamic resistance of the equipment.
Widely used in:
- the cement industry;
- building materials;
- systems for conveying and transferring bulk materials;
- the mining and metallurgical industry;
- the chemical industry;
- grain processing;
- mechanical production workshops.

Working principle
Driven by the fan, the dust-laden air enters the housing of the equipment from the bottom. Dust particles are retained on the outer surface of the filter bags, while the cleaned air passes through the bags and is discharged through the fan outlet at the top of the housing.
The dust settled on the surface of the filter bags is removed by means of pulse reverse blowing with compressed air, after which it falls down and is removed together with the material.
Blowing of the filter bags with compressed air is carried out in a pulsed manner at certain time intervals. The pulse controller sends a signal to open the solenoid valves in sequence, and compressed air is directed through the blow pipes into the corresponding filter bags.
During blowing, the compressed air creates an injection effect, drawing in a volume of surrounding air several times greater than the volume of the compressed air itself entering the bag. This causes an instantaneous sharp expansion of the filter bag. Because the blowing time is very short (usually 0.01–0.03 s), after the supply of compressed air stops, the bag rapidly contracts under the action of the negative pressure created by the fan.
Owing to this rapid expansion and contraction, the dust is effectively separated from the surface of the filter bag and removed together with the material.
Since the cleaning of the bags is performed sequentially (three bags per cycle) and the blowing time is very short, the handling capacity of the dust collector remains unchanged during the cleaning process.

Equipment features
- (1) The fan and the pulse bag dust collector are combined into a single unit, which makes it possible to shorten the air ducting, simplify the process flow and create favorable conditions for improving the operating efficiency of the main equipment.
- (2) A frame-type detachable filter-bag structure is used, in which each bag can be dismantled individually, greatly simplifying installation, operation and bag replacement during maintenance.
- (3) The equipment is distinguished by compact dimensions combined with a large filtration area: the filtration area of each bag is 1 m². Thanks to this, the air-handling capacity is significantly higher than that of pulse dust collectors with round bags of the same volume, which helps reduce the overall dimensions of the equipment.
- (4) The dust-collection efficiency reaches 99.9%, and the air at the fan outlet can be discharged directly into the premises.
